Friendship tapestry

This is 12 pieces that were made for the Friendship tapestry , many people are contributing to this work which will tour the World I believe, started in Iceland. My piece is middle row extreme right. This was made with my friends in my other online group which is run by Pat Winter, a dear friend and mentor . As Pat loves Dragonflies (along with so many of us) she decided we all incorporate one in our piece, i think they all worked really well and were loved by so many people. I love Crazy Patchwork.

Inchies and inchies plus

These are my first attempt at the inchies and plus inchies , made for a Christmas swap with my online group Crazies United that I run. Not too bad for a first attempt, bit fiddly lol.

This is a doll I am making for a friend , she is a spirit of the forest and yet to be named. I used cotton I dyed with silk deka dyes and then used rubber stamping in the form of flowers and insects etc, the hair is silk tops. This is the first face I have painted so not too sure if it is a bit on the large size. I have yet to embellish her, but so far I am quite pleased with her. The pattern is from the book by Patti Cullea.
